This is pretty cut and dry...

Build - I will build your website within the specs of the basic design of this site you are reading now. All orders must be placed by either using the Order Form or just emailing me a basic description of what you want. You can also send it to me as a Word Document too. Not sure where to start? Just tell me the type of business and I'll create it myself then you can tell me what changes need to be made. It gets much easier once Ive got a framework done. I do not take orders by phone, but if you want to call to make sure I'm a real person then that's perfectly fine.

Maintain - I will keep your website working for the three year term and make changes as your need. By changes, I mean changes to text or if you have to change your contact information. If you want to change the scheme and color of the site, well, then that means we have to start all over again and I'll have to charge you to re-build the website. All change requests must be sent to me by email. Please don't call with requests or leave the instructions in my voicemail. My inbox is my to-do list. If your request is in it, then it'll get done. I cannot maintain your links page (if you opted for one) as you'll be able to do that yourself (read FAQ's below).

There is no limit on the number of changes you can make, but please try not to send me requests every week. My service is for small businesses with low maintenance needs. If you need to add content to your website on a continuous basis then this is not the service for you. My advice would be to go with one of the hundreds of other hosting services and learn how edit your pages and ftp them to your server.

Trouble - I've bought server space from GoDaddy as I like the speed of their equipment and they're a good company. Nothing is perfect, though, and no matter what hosting service you use, at some point there may be an outage. Don't freak out, as your site will probably be back in a few minutes. If it's been hours, though, then please send me an email or call, as I need to know what's happening so I can address it.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know that you're going to be around for three years to service my site? I'm known for my commitment. Word of mouth is the best marketing so I want to earn your good words. Also, you could choose the biggest web hosting company in the country and wonder the same thing. My overhead is VERY low and the server space is already paid for....worry not!

What if I want more than five pages in my website? No problem. You can add additional pages for $20 each. The additional pages won't appear in the top menu, but will appear the text menu at the bottom of each page. In fact, this page you are reading now is an additional page.

How do I leave your service and move my site and domain to another company? Just send me an email. I'll save your files, zip them and email them to you. I will then release your domain and even change the name servers if you like. You will, however, be responsible for installing and uploading the website files to your new server and managing your domain from there on out. You can do this at any time, but there is no rebate if you leave before the three-year term has expired.
