Hi, I'm Brian. This is my 3rd business venture in the past 5 years. In 2004 I started Folsom Party Rentals and still reside over all operations. It is a seasonal business that pretty much slows to a crawl after Christmas. During this slow period in 2006 I started my second venture, party-wedding.info, where I've compiled one of the internet’s largest directory of party/wedding/event vendors as well as tons of other related info. It is one of the top wedding guide websites in Google's Search Engine Results (SERP’s) and is currently receiving a half million unique visitors a year and growing. I've built over 10,000 webpages and can build some for you too.

Background

Before becoming an entrepreneur back in 2004, I worked in the field of telecommunications for 13 years. My first position was with Pacific Bell then onto SBC, Eclipse and finally Worldcom. Among my responsibilities were being part of the team that created the first broadband network in the SF Bay Area, implementing data solutions for business customers, database administration and overseeing our department’s intranet. The last position is when I learned how to create web pages and started to understand html code...I liked it. I'd estimate that I've created about 15,000 web pages to date. The corporate life was a fruitful career, but ended with a sour note when the Worldcom scandal sent my whole department packing our bags as well as thousands of others. It was time to do something on my own.
